What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as what is in your basket. We also use similar technologies such as pixels and local storage, and this policy covers those too.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary. These make the site work and cannot be switched off. They remember your basket, keep your session secure, and store your country and language. Set by Shopify, which hosts our store.

Analytics. These tell us how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from. We use Shopify's own analytics and Google Analytics. Google may process this data outside the UK.

Marketing. These help us measure whether our advertising and email campaigns work, and let us show you relevant offers. Set by Shopify, Google and Klaviyo, our email provider.

Functional. These remember choices you have made so the site behaves the way you expect, such as which pop-ups you have already seen, what is on your wishlist and which back-in-stock alerts you asked for. Set by OptiMonk, Swym and Notify Me.

Visitors in the United States

Our 5 litre acai is sold in the US through Goldbelly. If you visit our site from the United States, we also load a Meta (Facebook) pixel that belongs to Goldbelly. It tells Goldbelly and Meta which of our pages you viewed, so that Goldbelly can show you its Acai Berry offers on Facebook and Instagram. It sets Meta's advertising cookies and shares your IP address and browser information with Meta and Goldbelly, who handle that data under their own privacy notices.

We don't load this pixel for visitors outside the US. In the US it runs unless you opt out, which you can do at any time with Your privacy choices at the bottom of any page.

Your choices

If you visit from the UK or the EU, you can accept or decline cookies that are not strictly necessary when you first arrive. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page. If you visit from the US, you can opt out of your information being used for targeted advertising with Your privacy choices at the bottom of any page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site such as the basket and checkout will stop working.

Other companies on our pages

Some content and features on our site are provided by other companies, including Google, Klaviyo, OptiMonk, Swym, Weglot, Tagembed, Instafeed, Notify Me, Recharge, Bundler and AOV.ai, and for US visitors, Meta. When your browser loads their content it shares your IP address with them. Each of them handles that data under their own privacy notice.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
